तमिल एक्टर और TVK चीफ विजय की करूर रैली में बड़ा हादसा हो गया है. भीड़ इतनी ज्यादा हो गई कि भगदड़ जैसी स्थिति बन गई. अभी तक 38 लोगों के मारे जाने की खबर है. रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, 6 बच्चों और छह महिलाओं समेत 40 को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है. एंबुलेंस को भीड़ के बीच से निकलने में काफी मुश्किलों का सामना करना पड़ा. मुख्‍यमंत्री एमके स्टालिन ने घटना का संज्ञान लेते हुए खुद अस्पताल पहुंचे . रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, मौके पर मौजूद विजय ने हालात देखते ही तुरंत भाषण रोक दिया और मंच से पानी की बोतलें भीड़ की ओर फेंककर मदद करने की कोशिश की. वहीं इस हादसे के बाद भगदड़ मामले में के प्रभारी पुलिस महानिदेशक जी वेंकटरमन ने जानकारी दी
