Priyank Kharge calls for independent probe amid allegations

Karnataka/Bangalore: Congress MLA Priyank Kharge said, There are two versions regarding this suicide. While the contractor is suggesting one thing, the accused have also made a complaint presenting another aspect of the entire incident. I want to make it very clear that whatever needs to be done, let there be an independent and fair investigation. I have personally requested the Home Minister to assign an independent investigative agency within the Home Department to look into the matter. As for the BJP, it seems they think they have found something. However, for the past year, they have been trying to get me to resign on frivolous grounds. Neither I, my department, nor the government is involved in any such activities. I have spoken with the concerned authorities, but the Honorable Home Minister is currently not in Bangalore. Once he returns, I will discuss the matter with him again.
