Emerging economy leaders attend China's 'Belt and road' forum


Leaders from emerging markets, like Ethiopia's Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and Sri Lanka's President Ranil Wickremesinghe, convened in Beijing for a meeting commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, a key policy of Chinese President Xi Jinping. The initiative focuses on Chinese firms building global infrastructure to boost trade and economic prosperity, with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán also engaging with Chinese leaders during the event.
