Financing, funding, technology: Urban river management planning takes shape under ‘DHARA 2023’

Briefing on the event being held under the ‘DHARA 2023’, National Mission for Clean Ganga Director General G Asok Kumar on February 13 in Pune informed about the preparations and plans that are to be discussed for the urban river management project.

Kumar further informed that the meeting which will be joined by 107 cities along with several senior officers in connection with the matter, will hold discussions on factors like finance, fund, technology, and more that will come under the ‘DHARA 2023’.

The project also includes enhancing the quality of life of citizens living in the downstream areas of several rivers.
