Korail says the tickets can be booked through its website as well as in-person at train stations and ticket sales agencies for two days.
Tickets for Gyeongbu, Gyeongjeon, Donghae, Chungbuk lines can be bought today, while those for Honam, Jeolla, Gangneung and Janghang can be bought on Wednesday.
Online purchases will be available from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., while ticket counters will open for two hours, from 9 to 11 a.m.
This year's Chuseok holiday runs through September 12th to the 15th.
