WAITING FOR THEIR TURN

Residents of Manila sit inside a mall theater as they await their turn to get vaccinated on July 15, 2021. One million government-procured Sinovac doses arrived in the country on July 14 as part of the 2.5 million Covid-19 shots from the Chinese manufacturer to be delivered this week. To date, about 21.779 million vaccines have arrived in the country since March, with 3.8 million Filipinos completing their vaccination. Another 9.93 million people have received their first dose.
