Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid tribute to the ‘Iron man of India’ Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his birth anniversary, marked by the ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’.

Addressing the celebrations, PM Modi spoke on the Pulwama attack which resulted in the death of 40 CRPF personnel in 2019. “The country can never forget that some people were not saddened at the sacrifice of the security personnel during the Pulwama attack,” he said.

Narendra Modi attacked the people who were playing "dirty politics" over the Pulwama attack for their personal gains and requested them not to do so in the interest of the nation.
