WASA PIPE RACK STILL IN SEA

Scores of residents of south Trinidad came out of their homes to protest the presence of a leaking WASA main, and WASA's alleged failure to remove its debris from a major watercourse.

The concerned residents say not only is their water supply affected, but the possibility of severe flooding this rainy season exists.

Speaking to our reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekerisngh at the Godineau Bridge near Mosquito creek on Tuesday, they called on WASA to act immediately, since thousands could face disastrous consequences soon.
