Warren Augustus de Guzman - How Sad
1 Views • Oct 28, 2014
Description
Then the second drawer from the bottom,
Then the second drawer from the top.
She was looking for something absentmindedly,
She could not find what she was looking for.
She finally opened the topmost drawer,
Forgetting to close the other three.
The steel cabinet irked, moving forward slightly.
Then it crashed on top of her in a swift fluid motion
Not allowing any sound to leave her crushed lips.
Not allowing any one to do anything about it.
The roll of tape she was looking for flew through the air
From the top of the fallen cabinet
And landed a few inches from her crippled body.
It was the saddest thing in the world.
Death by stupidity and large metal cabinet.
