Warning Warning Warning

Description
General Motors will introduce the industry's first camera-based Forward Collision Alert system with Lane Departure Warning. The new active safety system uses a high-resolution digital camera that works like a human eye to look for shapes of vehicles and lane markings. The captured imagery is analyzed instantaneously by sophisticated software to warn drivers with audible warnings and visual alerts displayed high in the center of the dashboard.
Drivers have the ability to turn the alerts on and off, as well as set the warning distances. The 2012 GMC Terrain and Chevrolet Equinox will be the first vehicles to offer this technology.
