Warm temperatures but cloudier _ 040318

Good morning. Seoul will continue to have very warm temperatures, while those in Beijing will notice a big drop in temperatures from high 20s to low teens due to rain.

Rain is on the way here in South Korea, but for today we'll continue to have unseasonably warm temperatures. Many regions had the warmest readings of the season yesterday, including Seoul and Daegu. Just two weeks ago, Daegu was blanketed with heavy snow, but we can enjoy the lovely spring colors.

Taking a closer look at today's temperatures, Seoul, Gwangju and Busan had a low of 14 degrees, readings have already jumped to the upper-teens... it's a one mild morning.

As for the highs, Seoul and Busan will top out at 20 degrees, while Daegu and Gyeongju will make it to 25 degrees. Expect to see more clouds than yesterday.

Then the rain starts tomorrow, it's forecast to be quite heavy. Seoul could see up to 50 millimeters on Wednesday and Thursday and that will bring much chillier conditions to the nation.
