Wan Junaidi: Govt will work to close down cooperatives that cannot be revived
Description
At a press conference after launching the Malaysian Cooperatives Transformation Plan on Tuesday, Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said there were 9,397 active cooperatives and 2,134 inactive ones while 3,094 were dormant.
Wan Junaidi said his ministry will work with the Malaysian Cooperatives Commission to close down cooperatives that cannot be revived.
