Wan Azizah: Nothing wrong with issuing translated statements
Description
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail on Thursday said there is nothing wrong with using another language in translating a statement when it comes to official matters, even though Bahasa Malaysia is the official language. On Sunday, Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng drew flak after he issued a statement in Mandarin to defend his use of trilingual statements for certain ministerial matters.
