Walterrean Salley - A Crumpled Old Napkin
Laying on the floor,
Shaped like an angel-
Need I say more.
I picked up the napkin-
Wrinkled as could be
And placed it on a table
Next to me.
And then with a pencil
And artistic eye,
I would catch the image
In the napkin nearby.
So I began to sketch-
Fanciful and free-
The angelic image
In the napkin next to me.
