Walter Lane - ~~ Born Blind ~~
3 Views • Jun 12, 2014
Description
The rising of the sun
Or watched the children playing
In the streets and having fun
They''ve never seen the colors
Of the forest in the fall or
Glanced upon their Nations'Flag
As it flies so proud and tall
These eyes have never seen
The smile upon a face
And never saw except by touch
The patterns of lace
These eyes have never gazed
Upon a lined and aged face
Or saw the wisdom in those eyes
Or saw such age old grace
These eyes have seen only darkness
Since the time of birth
And never saw the wonders
Of this, our mother earth
But all is not gloomy
Said the Blind Persons'lips
For I have the sense of touch
Within my finger tips
I can touch a flower
Or a baby's face
And my mind will form an image
That my heart can then embrace
So while I live in darkness
I''m not completely blind
For my other senses send me
A picture for my mind
I have the sense of smell
Of hearing and of touch
And using all these senses
I can see so much
I can smell the flowers
And feel the heated ground
And hear all the noise's
That all of us surround
From all of my senses
A picture I can form
And place it in my mind
Like person's sighted born
And most things I see more clearly
Then you who now can see
For I don't have the distractions
To keep their forms from me
So while I live in darkness
No light can I see
I still have the pictures
My other senses give to me

Luke 5v27-29:- Jesus picked up twice-born Labourers and not the blind once-born Disciples as the Rabbis had. Rabbis were Rulers and Jesus was a Super Servant, just the opposite.
