Wallis minten - Alone

For a long time now I felt alone in the crowd
Although it might be hard to believe
To be surrounded by so many people
And still think that I’m never seen
Oh sure I have my friend to talk to
And of course I have my family at my side
But they can’t understand the things I dream
They can’t see who I am on the inside
To feel so alone but have everything
To feel like I have no right to complain
Still, I drift away slowly although I try to hold on
Alone in my hurt and my pain
