Walking Dead Inspired Zombie Makeup Application

Excited and inspired by the new season of The Walking Dead I wanted to try making a zombie. The Walking Dead uses the sunken in, zombie brow prosthetics with pretty insane facial wounds, so I made my own zombie brow out of gelatine, and made the classic exposed zombie mouth. \r

Walking Dead hero zombies usually have full face foam latex prosthetics, and full sclera lenses. My at-home version is to make four gelatine prosthetic pieces, and uses standard sized lenses from my optometrist. Theres a lot of brown and grey decayed colours happening in TWD, with a lot of splattering of these colours in the makeup, which I tried to replicate. Sometimes TWD will do a full bald cap then apply thinned, falling off hair to the zombies, or will use lots of conditioner in the hair to make it look really gross. They also make their own blood out of corn syrup and food dyes, and will use black icing in the mouth to stain the teeth and gums. \r
