Despite their simplicity, the edits paired with captions like “W Speed” or “Speed Respect” framed his actions as honorable wins. The trend gained traction during Speed’s “Does America” tour in August and September 2025, spreading as reaction images on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Twitter. Popular examples include Picks Up Water, Takes a Sip, Tastes the Food / Enjoys It, Starts Moving, and Ohio Disabled. The meme’s format echoed the earlier Squid Game Edit Reaction trend, and Yung Kai’s song “Blue” was often used as background audio.
