W!LD are a Cork based outfit comprised of Perry Wild (Guitar, Vox) Jack Hickey (Drums, Kittens) and Louis Wild(Bass, Vox)

They were formed from the ashes of the acclaimed young band Squirrel Jihad, with a new drummer and fresh set of songs, in summer 2009.

W!LD play acoustic and electric sets and, having backgrounds in theatre, are very much a performance outfit. From wearing purple capes to jumping on speaker cabs anything goes as long as it's entertaining and/or against health and safety regulations.
The band play their own original songs, often with complex arrangements, that incorporate various styles from 70s Rock, to eastern European stomp, with a dash of tongue in cheek religious Funk thrown in.

They are currently recording their Debut EP at Metaphorm Studios, Donaraile (who's previous clients include folk legend Donovan!)
