VW Microbus Slated For Fully Electric Return in 2022

The iconic microbus from Volkswagen is scheduled to make a comeback in 2022.
A fabled ride from the 1960s and 1970s in the US, VW discontinued production of the microbus in 2013 due to safety concerns.
But the latest iteration won't feature a small and simple engine to work with.
Instead, the microbus will be fully electric featuring VW's I.D. Buzz technology.
And a prototype is already making the rounds, though production is a few years off.
