Von Suppe: Light Cavalry: Overture (excerpt)

Franz van Suppé's Overture from the operetta Light Cavalry premiered in Vienna in 1866. The operetta is rarely performed these days however, the Overture on it's own is still performed by many orchestras around the world. It has become one of Suppé's most popular compositions.
