Voice of America Urdu conducted their first Student Town Hall with IOBM (Institute of Business Management) and Media Psychology Research Center in Karachi on the topic of "Digital Journalism: Challenges and Opportunities."

In VOA Washington D.C studios we had VOA Digital Director Matthew Biase and ICFJ Program Director Patrick Butler. VOA Urdu Managing Editor Internet Imran Siddiqui was the host in Washington D.C.

At IOBM Studios in Karachi we had Ovais Mangalwala, Senior Producer, Express News Pakistan; Ovais Jaffer, Editor Multimedia, Geo News; Ejaz Wasay, Head Of Dept Media Sciences Program at IOBM Senior Fellow Marketing;and Shahbaz Siddiqui, CEO Nucleus Media and a student at IOBM was the host in Karachi.
