"VITE" Ep.0 - Introduction

The italian word "VITE" has a double meaning:
Lives and Vines.

I always speak enthusiastically of friends, Italian wine producers,
that I have known in many years of working in this industry.
For this reason, a group of friends and fellow American sommeliers asked me to organize a trip around Italian hills and cellars in June:
tasting wines, getting to know the winemakers, listening and learning a little Italian.
This critical moment forced us to give up the trip, but I didn't want to deprive myself and them of the pleasure of meeting, even if virtually,
these great people. These winemakers have dedicated
their lives (VITE)
to taking care of their vines (VITE),
crafting the fine wines that we can serve to our customers.
The following short videos are like casual, easy-going chats with friends, just like the ones that one day we will have at their wineries.
