Vision Ghost - Loves Genesis

Seated at last so wearied, and so travelled
Still so unknowing, as I am so compelled
To be the constant traveller, to your heart
Wishing I could rest here, before I fall apart

On an endless flight, of constant knowing
Hearing the siren, upon the winds blowing
That’s so much known, the song of our tears
Bearing a pathway there, to unknown fears

Can I kiss your lips, and so taste perfection?
Or simply dream this, into escaped illusion?
As I will always know, where you shall go
Forever taking the passion, I shall bestow

And to never cry alone again, as I am here
To hold your heart, and steal away the fear
Albeit in a dream, or the realities you make
Or the ungoverned passions, you so stake

Now take my hand, as I mean you no harm
And let me lead you this once, in a charm
Free of vanity, and of tempered misgivings
But to seek, with the answers, upon wings

To never fear again, as I would catch you
Within this grip of a compassion, so true
Can you feel this getting stronger, each day?
Should we not venture, or just stay this way?

As you too could replace, these parts of me
That where lost or shattered, when set free
That in your hands, of an angels’ delicacy
That I so feel, whenever you embrace me

Take a moment, from a day to somewhere
And taking me with you, as if I am on air
For as a split second, I was so close to you
As far as the love, I felt that this was true

I know there is a field out there, so baron
It awaits the moments, of our germination
Let the seeds be this love, and continuation
Of the fragility, of beginnings, of creation
