Vision Ghost - Captured Passing

Opening to an activated city, of everyday humanity
Voyaging to a place, as everyone now has a journey
A place to go and such a piece, of reality to live for
Congregated but don’t say anything, due to social law

The pavement on the street, is so exact to its placing
Look up and caught her in the eye, as I was pacing
Just a chance occurrence, of this moment in seconds
That so brief a time together, as something beckons

For this study of her, hair in the wind blowing free
Just what is it that captivated my eyes, for me to see?
Drawing upward my focus, from the figure to her face
Don’t want to step too close, but to feel auroras grace

Quiet the passing of this meeting, of non recognition
That I could ask her name, what would be her reaction?
To run away afraid, or to defend herself in aggression
Of such an intrepid, and yet such provoking inquisition

But I just wanted to know, who she is before we go
On toward the rest of the day, to tick by so very slow
And then never yield another thought, of her entirety
Caught within her atmosphere, of such complexity

Examining details of her eyes, and cheek bones high
Curving of her hips meeting her waist, and to the sky
Where I wish now I could be, as her memory so lingers
Wish I could touch a heart, without words or fingers

Forever now to contemplate, the possibility in fantasy
That I wasn’t brave enough or courageous, for enquiry
Of where she goes, who she is, what she wants and…
So much more wanting and without, my guiding hand

Though I know this happens, everyday for many more
As it did yesterday, will tomorrow, also the day before
Maybe I am a dreamer; I would loose myself to dreams
Instead of always passing unwavering, timeless streams
