Virtual stores eliminate small competition

'Virtual stores' that combine the convenience of online shopping with the sensory experience of the real thing are the latest way that big supermarkets plan to compete for shoppers' cash.

But this model is causing controversy, as indepedent shop-keepers claim that they cannot possibly compete. They say that big-brand virtual shops are just another way in which they are being put out of business.
