Surely as I sit on this floor

Out or reach from anyone
My soul jerks my body
Back and forth
Desperately trying to slow down this furious pace

Falling out of control
Surely as I sit on this floor

In my minds eye, reaching with all my might
Rope dangles from the edge
Swinging, Dancing,
Teasing my fingertips

Falling out of control
Surely as I sit on this floor

Falling further and deeper
Wide open are my eyes
Their screams drowned as they well up
With tears of lies
With such unbearable fear

Falling out of control
Surely as I sit on this floor

Silence

Back and forth
Metronome
Back and forth

I breathe, gasp for air

Desperately reaching for the rope
