Life has promised
all pain reaps rewards

I'll walk to you,
with heart revealed,
into strong arms
held open as a smile,
wanting pure love
as I want
only you.

Give this time,
I can wait some more,
nothing worth having
is worth being hurried,
as slowly - they say-
true love grows
within us.
