Viola Grey - Dark Dream

Sleep, that unwanted dream,
where Angels drown your wings
in muddy puddles of unwanted tears,
in flames of forgotten fears.

Demons find sweet satisfaction
in every sad idea
pitifully whispered
to guardians of the dead.

Slip now into night's soft coma,
reject fantasies of insomnia,
toss...don't turn your back again,
dreams are every teardrop's friend.
