Viola Grey - Blood Sky

Red sky delight tonight,
as though the trees are ablaze,
shadows glowing with black.
Makes me think of your blood
dancing within your pale skin,
how I long to touch the fire
you emanate in every breath.
You are the beat, the steady pulse,
and I am just the breeze.
So, who is carrying who
towards tomorrow's destiny.
