Justice stands by the calm lake and removes her blind fold
placeing the scales of balance at her feet
she looks at the beautiful blue expanse

Raising her sword she proclaims
with all her might
no longer blind
no longer balanced
no longer powerfull
justice has been defeated
may god help them all

Ripples break the still water
sending pulses of blue lines
towards the dry shores
the lady of the lake has awakend

Arm raised
hand open
she waits for the sword of power
to protect it
to honor it
until it is needed again

Justice tosses
the powerful sword
towards the waiting arm
end over end it flies
sun gleeming of the steel
like a thousand mirrors

Into the hand it goes
and as quick it is gone
to rest along other swords
of legends past

Justice
crying
head down
broken
walks away

Justice
no longer fair
no longer balanced
no longer blind
no longer needed

Justice now just another myth in time
