A village chief was arrested for allegedly setting fire to a government building in China's Hebei Province on Sunday.
Gao Jinhe, head of Beitai village, reportedly told township officials that the Party secretary in his village was involved in corruption. He said his complaints were ignored.
Police said Gao used petrol to set the building on fire, burning more than 20 offices and injuring two officials. A witness said Gao was also burned, but the police took him away instead of taking him to the hospital.
