Vikrant Kelkar - Rainbow

The vast vagueness in colorless and pale life
Untraceable footsteps lost in the sand
Lost its way to a home or a shrine
Nothing shall vanish with a stroke of wand
The rivers shall rise and overflow
Soon flood they will the town gates
Ending civilizations, miseries and fates
Yet the widow’s weed shall outgrow
The tree who begs for a blissful breath
Whose sickness is sickly and unearthly
For he demands to congregate Gods heavenly
Shall see many deaths until his own death
The rose reaching her pleasing puberty
Undeniable and untamable dreams of liberty
For tears shall roll down to her bosom from eyes
As the blood of her innocence in the sun silently dries
And still humankind will surface flawless
Through the shines and the darkness
With riches and clouts it’ll reek
And the rainbow shall forever be beautiful and meek.
