Vigils held for school shooting victims

The Catholic Church in Newtown was packed on Friday evening as hundreds of grieving residents held a vigil in memory of the children and staff killed.

With a population of just 27,000 many here knew personally the victims. Monsignor Robert Weiss baptised some of the children. He told the congregation that they lit up the community better than all the Christmas lights.
