Vidya Balan on her weight gaining issues

Vidya Balan has confessed that she has always had a weight problem but was never conscious of it until college. She also reveals that after years of crash dieting, she finally sought the professional help of a nutrionist. Speaking about the same, Vidya has been quoted as saying, "My nutritionist told me that I had a medical condition which hindered weight loss and I was put on a pill," says the actress but also adds, "I was constantly exhausted while I was on the medication and once I stopped I gained double the weight I had lost. I went from doctor to doctor and imagine my surprise when I was told that I was absolutely healthy." However, over the years, Vidya has come to terms with her curves and says, "A fat girl always feels like a boy will not like her because of her weight. But there is only so much a boyfriend, a husband and your family can do. But I know that love is non negotiable and at the end of the day, you have to come to terms with who you are."
