Every night, after each day that goes by,
I lie awake in my bed feeling weak;
Emotionally, mentally, physically.

Nightmares haunt my dreams,
Unable to decifer their meaning or remember them.

My heart grows ice-cold,
Hard as stone,
No love for a partner nor for myself.

The days pass in a mindless blur,
All blending together as one dark painting.

Hope fading, fear replacing it.

On the outside i try and
Hold my head up high
But inside i just want to run and hide.

I'm tired of all the lies and deceits
That hides behind all the
Masquerades in life.

I'm ready to just lie down and die.
It's not giving up on life but
Accepting death when it's your time.
