If life were fair
I could deal with everyday
If life were fair
I would be in school today
I ponder these thoughts
Situations I can't control
I'm getting worried
Over my broken soul
Everything can't be perfect
or at least accepted
If life were fair
I wouldn't get rejected
If I had self confidence
There are things to be attempted
I lose before I try
I get lost inside
The shadow in my eye
Life isn't fair
But who ever said it was.
