The time has come my friend
For us to say goodbye
A friendship they say will end
But that is just a lie

We will keep in touch
Try and visit whenever we can
Go on rollercoasters and such
Or maybe we just ran

Ran away from the past
And we will never return
Our friendship did not last
Like a piece of paper to burn

But that cannot be
This friendship will remain
You will always be part of me
Even through the wind and rain

I will keep hoping
Keep praying to see you again
It's hard coping
Asking myself when

This is hard
But this is not the end
Lets just throw away the card
For now goodbye my friend
