and wallowing in self pity
of goals unattained
money strained
dreams rearranged

and I began to starve
eventually living off of salty tears
and chewing on my own fears
of losing you
and me
and the idea of we
being forever
But death does not become me
and in my attempt to fly free
I just masturbate
and sing sweet songs of love from me
to me

and have I told you lately that you give me butterflies
my sweet sweet baby
because for you

and loving you is easy because you are beautiful


So baby, while your voice is silent, I hear mine
