Vettel dominates Italian GP

MANILA, Philippines – In Formula One, Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel won the Italian Grand Prix to move 53 points clear of Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso after six victories from 12 races. Vettel, who celebrated his 32nd career win and third at Monza to boos from Ferrari fans, now has 22 points to Alonso’s 169, with Lewis Hamilton on 141 with seven races remaining. Alonso finished runner-up as he was 5.4 seconds behind, with Red Bulls’ Mark Webber taking third place in his final Grand Prix on European soil. -- Mornings @ ANC, September 9, 2013
