Vanity Fare were a British pop/rock group who formed in 1966. Their best selling song was "Hitchin' a Ride" which became a hit internationally in 1970. It reached No. 5 on the US Billboard Chart and No. 16 on the UK Singles Chart. Many artists that have previously toured with the band include P.J. Proby, Chris Farlowe, Dave Berry and Brian Poole.
