Vanessa Rose - Broken...

I was ever so joyous when you were with me,
You would hold me in you arms,
And just let everything be.

All despair was kept away,
As long as you were here to say,
'It's all going to be okay'.

But then you left me to be on my own,
And when you left, you took the light away from my eyes,
Hiding everything that was always before shown.

My heart was torn apart in two,
One wanting to move on,
The other craving you.

Can you not come back and heal this sacred thing?
Because it is always for you that my heart will sing.

Since it is you I cannot see,
My life is no longer necessary to me.
