What my mind thought was once there,
Never was.
The sweet thoughts that swam in my mind,
Is lost.
The small smile that appeared upon my gentle lips,
Has been swallowed up by sorrow and darkness.
I thought it could be reached, and have a passionate touch.
This dream though was taken from upon my hands by another.
What I thought one moment belonged to me, has sailed away.
What I thought my arms could hold to my loving beating heart,
Are just now holding the sadness of loneness and failure!
This one joyful possession will never disappear completely,
From my deep soul’s grips.
Never!
