Van Morrison - Wild Night (1971)

Another favorite of mine from 1971, this one by Van Morrison helped close out the year. I had many a wild night of my own in the fall of 1971, and this song I have come to identify with that time ... and all our wild nights. It was released in October 1971 and peaked two months later on December 11 at #25 on Cash Box and #28 on Billboard.

Dancing is a major theme in the lyrics so there shall be no disappointment finding plenty in this video. Most of the footage was shot in 1971 and 1973, except for the blue-tinted sequence from 1966.
