Why can't I just escape?

Escape to a place where nothing matters
And I'm free to do as I wish

Escape from this drama
Escape from fear and hate

Escape into a loving realm
Where I understand whats going on
And I know whats right

Just to get completely lost in a place like that, with no worries
Like a singer does while singing a song
Or like a writer who's creative mind slips away while writing a book or poem
Or like a passionate artist who gets lost with every brush stroke they paint

Or like me when I stare into your eyes...
And I feel like I'm there...
I miss you...
