Valsa George - Over The Sea

I am gliding n' floating over the calm sea
Where there is nothing but vacancy
Before me stretches the infinite space
I am in no hurry to move in a brisk pace

Forward and forward, leisurely I plow
Over the ocean's tranquil flow
Soon a storm brews
And a terrible scene ensues

Winds howl, waters wobble and rise
And my vessel is about to capsize
It is bobbing over the merciless waves
Now my mind in acute agony raves

Waves after waves come crashing
They seem hell bent on crushing
I hear the rising wind whistling
They sound like funeral wailing

I look up to the graying night sky
Like coils of smoke, my prayers rise high
I have a premonition, my boat is about to wreck
But to my relief I see a luminous speck

Amid dark clouds, I spot the evening star
It seems to commune from far
'Never give up hope, steer your course
Dispel all fears and apply your force'

With renewed vigor and pluck
Lifting the oar I strike
I feel my pulse quicken
And the fury of the winds slacken

Now I steer my course through the sea
Knowing life is never hassle free
Battling with the hostile elements
I am bent on conquering all impediments
