I was sitting on my porch step looking up at the beautiful
and wonderful trees whispering a sweet la-a-bye to me
And the birds was singing in the trees was whispering
a sweet la-a-bye to me
And a cool breeze bush across my face It made me
think of the la-a-bye that my grandmother use to sing
to me from the whisper tree
