I wish you would smile..

Ever since you hurt me
All I feel I want to do is cry
My life seems only a trial
Ever since I have not seen your smile.

As I stumble along life’s way
Now full of only thorns for me
I realize how true it is to say
That your smile would make my day

Why do we not realize
how precious is every moment
making the most of it before it disappears
swift as a wisp of smoke in the sky.

Dark clouds have hidden my sunshine,
Pain grips my heart with cold fingers
But where I once wanted all of you
Now all I feel is…If only you’d smile……
My life would be drenched in sunshine.
