like the flurry of snow she potrays in her paintings..
lovingly crafting each delicate flake of snow..
yet, leaving nothing but a trail of damp to show..
her love is ensconed deep within her being..
not remembered, nor forgotten ever to be..
nuances steal upon her still memories..
her fork pauses as her eyes begin to glisten..
a far away hidden memory surfaces and beckons..
she misses her prince, smart handsome and suave..
no one can take his place in her heart and life she knows.
the world is fooled so easily as ever..
stolen joy only her prince can replace..
smiles to shine in her sorrow filled eyes..
times she wishes she had not refused..
to be loved and love with all her being..
how is she still living she cannot explain..
yet no pain greater than the parting of souls fused..
heartbeats grow weaker with every passing day..
for her destiny to change she awaits...
