UV Window Film Installation

http://www.invictawindowfilms.co.uk/ - The Charles Dickens museum in Doughty Street WC1 re-opened on the 10th December following a £3M lottery funded restoration project. Doughty Street was dickens family home from March 1837 to December 1839. The Doughty Street address is where Dickens wrote Oliver Twist and Nicholas Nickleby, the house shows exhibits from the period including photographs previously unseen by the public.
To ensure maximum protection against harmful Ultra violet light, the glass in the timber sash windows has been treated with a specialist UV Film, the Window Film was installed by Invicta working through the Main Contractor, Mansell.
The UV film used to protect the Museum exhibits is optically clear, but will reduce UV light transmission by over 99.5% measured at 380 nanometres, thereby dramatically reducing the risk of fading and UV degradation.
